Lyrics[]
The night that they came for you
Where from I just can’t say
Green lights that outshone the moon
I looked at them face to face
I’m so tired, am I dreaming?
Do you see what I can see?
I’m so tired, I can’t remember
Have they come for you or me?
I tried to stop you, but you walked to them
The lights on our street went out
With no goodbyes, what were we witnessing?
Your feet lifted off the ground
Missing time
That’s what you gave to me
Disappeared overnight
You never came back to me
And when I knew you’d gone
A star that I could not track
The night was so still, so wrong
I cried for them to bring you back
I’m so sad, I can’t remember
Do you feel what I can feel?
In my dreams, we walk together
Perfect sorrow haunting me
Missing time
That’s what you gave to me
Disappeared overnight
You never came back to me
Missing time
That’s what you gave to me
Disappeared overnight
You never came back to me
