Daniel De Mussenden Carey (born 24 December 1969) is an English record producer, writer, mixer and remixer.
Carey owns his own studio in South London and runs the record label Speedy Wunderground in co-operation with Heavenly Recordings.
With Bat For Lashes[]
He co-produced and performed on seven tracks on Bat For Lashes's third studio album, The Haunted Man.[1] He worked with Natasha Khan again in 2013 on the Iranian cover song "The Bride" with English rock band TOY, which was released via his own label.[2] The trio later founded the Sexwitch project in 2015 and released a debut self-titled album consisting of six covers of 70s psychedelic songs from different parts of the world.[3]
He co-produced and co-wrote "Sunday Love" on Khan's fourth album, The Bride.[4]
